Odalys Jasmine is a proud first-gen Hondureña from Southeast San Diego on a mission to represent the underrepresented and create spaces for our community to learn, grow and thrive.  In her encounter with homelessness, Jasmine shares her difficult, yet loving upbringing that highlighted the necessity of vulnerability and practicing self care.  As Latinas, Jasmine and I discuss the cultural norms that make it difficult, but that much more important, to face and address our trauma.  Jasmine utilizes her personal experiences to provide advice surrounding self love to listeners of this episode of the Humble Rising Podcast as well as her own podcast, Hella Latin@.
